Directions: Add to clear soup or broths.

 

Seaweed soup (Miyeok Guk) with beef (Serving for 4)

 

Ingredients:

·        Ottogi Seaweed 10g

·        Beef 50g

·        Minced garlic 1tsp(6g)

·        Ottogi Sesame oil 2tsp (5g)

·        Soy sauce for soup 1 ½ Tbsp (23g)

 

How to cook :

1.      Soak 10g of dried seaweed in a big bowl for at least 30 minutes. Drain and cut into bite sized pieces.

2.      Cut the beef into bite sized pieces.

3.      Put Ottogi sesame oil and beef into the big pot. Pan-fry them until lightly browned.

4.      Add prepared seaweed and fry for 3 more minutes.

5.      Put 5 cups (1000ml) of water. Boil over high heat for 10 minutes. Add the Soy sauce for soup  to the pot and boil for another 10 to 20 minutes over low heat.

6.      Serve with rice, if you have it. Put a few spoonfuls of rice (or the whole bowl) into the soup and enjoy!
